Principal's Message
Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians,
Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year at Royal Oaks! I am filled with so much excitement as we begin Year Two together. Last year was an incredible journey of growth, learning, and community-building—and I can’t wait to continue that momentum with you and your students!
This year, we’re taking our school expectations to the next level with an updated focus on 21st Century PAWS:

🐾 S – Show Self-Control
These refreshed expectations support the essential skills our students need for success in school and beyond. Whether solving a challenge with a friend, welcoming others with kindness, working as a team, or making responsible choices—we are helping our BEARS grow into thoughtful, innovative, and compassionate citizens.
Key Dates to Remember:
📅 First Day of School: Thursday, August 14th
📅 Back to School Night: Tuesday, August 26th 5:00 - 6:30 pm
📅 Parent-Teacher Conferences: November 17th - 21st
Assigning students to new classes is always a difficult task. Please know that we engage in a very thorough process to create well-rounded and balanced classroom communities to support all students’ success. Classroom Assignment emails will be sent out by the district. We will not be posting class lists. Please note that no class changes will be discussed until after the first two weeks of school.
✨And now for a twist to the year… 🎫 The Golden Ticket: Unlocking the Wonder of Learning 🎫
My hope is that students will step into a Whimsical Workshop of Learning, where creativity, curiosity, and imagination fuel exciting discoveries both in the classroom and on the playground. Golden Tickets will appear throughout the year as students unlock new ideas, experiences, and opportunities. Get ready for surprises, themed events, and magical moments that make learning unforgettable!

¡Bienvenidos al año escolar 2025–2026 en Royal Oaks! Estoy llena de entusiasmo al comenzar nuestro Segundo Año juntos. El año pasado fue un viaje increíble de crecimiento, aprendizaje y construcción de comunidad, ¡y no puedo esperar para continuar con ese impulso junto a ustedes y sus estudiantes!

Estas expectativas actualizadas apoyan las habilidades esenciales que nuestros estudiantes necesitan para tener éxito en la escuela y más allá. Ya sea resolviendo un conflicto con un amigo, dando la bienvenida a otros con amabilidad, trabajando en equipo o tomando decisiones responsables, estamos ayudando a que nuestros OSOS (BEARS) crezcan como ciudadanos reflexivos, innovadores y compasivos.

Asignar a los estudiantes a nuevas clases siempre es una tarea difícil. Tengan la seguridad de que llevamos a cabo un proceso muy detallado para crear comunidades de aula equilibradas y completas que apoyen el éxito de todos los estudiantes. Los correos electrónicos con la asignación de clases serán enviados por el distrito. No publicaremos listas de clases. Tomen en cuenta que no se considerarán cambios de clase hasta después de las primeras dos semanas de clases.
✨Y ahora, un toque especial para este año…🎫 El Boleto Dorado: Desbloqueando la Maravilla del Aprendizaje 🎫
Mi deseo es que los estudiantes entren a un Taller de Aprendizaje Fantástico, donde la creatividad, la curiosidad y la imaginación impulsen descubrimientos emocionantes tanto en el aula como en el patio de recreo. Los Boletos Dorados aparecerán a lo largo del año a medida que los estudiantes desbloqueen nuevas ideas, experiencias y oportunidades. ¡Prepárense para sorpresas, eventos temáticos y momentos mágicos que harán del aprendizaje una experiencia inolvidable!
